Prince William’s youngest child is quite the charmer. Recently, 4-year-old Prince Louis, now named “the new Harry,” just entered a new phase — school. He also acted independent by dismissing his dad, who tried to hold his hand. So far, the Duke is employing “the Middleton way” to raise his kids.
More than once, Prince Louis has been in the news for his peculiar character, always making funny faces at public events, which cuts across as amusing to royal fans.
William and Kate’s youngest son recently started his school year, and like typical parents, the royal couple was seen walking their son and older kids to Lambrook School, near Ascot, for a “settling in afternoon.”

Apart from seeing him for the first time decked in his uniform, the paparazzi captured the 4-year-old walking close to his mom, who firmly held onto his hand.
Prince George latched his hand to Kate’s as they strolled smartly with wide-eyed grins. Next to the Duchess was William, who held Charlotte and aimed to have Louis’s hand.
However, Louis ignored his dad, and he refused to give his hand to William. Reportedly, the young prince appears to think he is too old to be seen hand and hand with the Duke.

William refused to be defeated as he held out his hand for some time, but eventually, he gave up and gently parted the back of his son’s head.
Again, the seemingly independent schoolboy shook off the head strokes. This did not affect the royal, who looked excited to go to school.
Shockingly, Louis did not break a sweat despite it being his first day of school; instead, when they neared the school, he flashed a smile at the cameras.

Upon arrival, the school’s headmaster, Jonathan Perry, greeted them at the entrance. When he asked if they were excited for the new school year, they chorused “yes!”
The couple spent some time settling in with their kids in school. They warmly greeted Perry’s wife, Jenny, and were seen talking and giggling with their kids.
Sources confirmed that the Cambridges made some findings about the Lambrook school before choosing it. The couple will pay £50,000 annually for their children.

Even though the Royal couple may have a busy life fulfilling royal obligations, they still pay full attention to their kids.
They are very intentional about the values and principles they raise them with, and they even have a way followed by both parents.
“The Middleton Way” to Raise Royal Children
Despite the evolution of the monarchy, one thing is constant, their lives can never be normal and will continue to be in the public eye.
According to Judi James, a body language expert who has studied his behaviors, he must have inherited his uncle’s traits as a child.

However, this new generation of royals is more committed to giving their kids what the world can not give them—normalcy.
William and Kate are devoted to achieving this, especially as they parent three fast-growing kids. One of the first signs proving their allegiance to their move to Windsor this summer.
According to royal expert Duncan Larcombe, Kate’s family upbringing will be the manual they will use to raise their kids, as opposed to the traditional royal way.

Prince William and Harry grew up with the typical royal upbringing. At the same time, Kate, and her siblings, Pippa and James, whose parents are among the high class in society, were nurtured in an affluent but not aristocratic manner.
Larcombe explained that the Cambridges are cautious about not over-exposing their children to the public so they can enjoy a conventional life. He added:
“I think we’ve seen for some time now that the model William and Kate are essentially using as a family is the Middleton way. It’s that strong family: brothers, sisters, everyone. And it is a tight unit.”

Another royal expert, Richard Kay, touched on George’s curated appearances. The 9-year-old who will inherit the throne after the Duke is forthright among his siblings.
However, William is conscious of his public appearances. Kay further linked William’s childhood experience to what might have shaped his view. He said:
“William and Harry, particularly William, was thrust from a very young age center stage. William has taken a different view. He wants to protect [his children] for as long as possible, give them some semblance of a normal childhood.”

Nonetheless, William and Harry still seek inspiration from their upbringing, and according to Ken Wharfe, Princess Diana’s bodyguard, the brothers are taking a cue from their mother.
Wharfe, who worked with Ros Coward to write “Diana: Remembering the Princess,” revealed that the people’s princess was always present for her sons.
He maintained that even though there were nannies to help out, Diana was the ideal mom who spent time with them, shopping and playing, and she even allowed sleepovers.

Wharfe believes “Harry and William remember their childhood with great fondness and appear to be drawing on the experiences Diana gave them to shape the upbringing of their children.”
Prince Louis Is “The New Harry”
William’s mini-me possesses a unique and fascinating character. He is known to be playful and mischievous, especially during royal family events.

According to Judi James, a body language expert who has studied his behaviors, he must have inherited his uncle’s traits as a child. She said:
“Watching Louis pull a range of playful faces at the Jubilee celebrations, it was easy to imagine he is the new Harry of the royal family – or at least Harry back in his royal joker days.”
James emphasized that how Kate handles him whenever he throws such tantrums is similar to how Diana behaved around Harry. The mothers were somewhat indulgent and showed a great deal of patience.

Consequently, Louis is not the only one who enjoys special attention. Like her husband, Kate is also neck-deep in ensuring that all three kids are surrounded by the best.
Reports showed that the Lambrook school where they enrolled their kids has strict anti-bullying rules, and failure to comply attracts dire punishment.

According to close sources, this relieves Kate, who felt intimidated during her time at Downe House in Cold Ash, Berkshire. She was bullied for her looks and eventually left the school.
Apart from attending a school that is certain to shield them from bullies, William and Kate’s kids are blessed with parents who are dedicated to their upbringing, using “the Middleton way.”
